The main content of each page will appear within this cell on each page using a common template.

Each page will contain photos, text, and whatever is needed to complete it and give the visitor the information they seek.

We could possibly use Blogger to let individuals add content to certain pages, such as a meeting schedule, etc., without allowing that person FTP access or letting them alter the template of the page. That way information could be pre-formatted to fit regardless of the actual content.

Here is a photo of some trees at Pleasant Lake as a test of how photos might be incorporated onto various pages. This photo was taken on a nice fall day and it could link to a larger version of the picture if so desired. I have a good digital camera available if we need to take photos of anything as the page is developed. I think that we have plenty of things that would be of interest to site visitors that we could photograph. Some of the recreational opportunities such as snowmobiling, ATV riding, fishing, and other associated leisure activities would be excellent. This text is lenghty to see how it will wrap with the photo in this sort of format.

Let's add another photo below. Normally this page would actually be an "overall introduction" to the town.

We'll put this photo of a hummingbird in front of our house on the right side of the page as a test. I think it looks pretty good and this could go on and on as needed. Again, it could link to a larger version of the photo but I have not taken time to do that at this point. We should when we put actual pictures on the site.

This is simply a test format of the web page and perhaps other ideas are needed. The colors, layout, etc., are simply the style that I frequently create. I try to base things on the type of project that I am working on and each person will see thing differently so I encourage other ideas also.
